Trick Sensei n. (trik sen-sa)
A roguish teacher possessing a mischievous personality. Usually depicted in myth or folklore, often an animal, who typically makes up for physical weakness with cunning and subversive humor.

Andres rocks a Washburn Falcon through a Fender Twin Reverb with a Boss loop station, Carl-Tone distortion, Digitech delay, and numerous slides, bottles, and inanimate objects.

Jeremy's main weapon is a 1975 Gibson Marauder guitar. He also plays a Kramer strat tuned to the key of D. He plays through a Montgomery Ward tube amp with a 1X15" cabinet. His effect pedals include Big Muff II Distortion pedal, Nobel Tremolo, Boss Phaser and Two Digitech Delays.

Gerald plays a Spector bass exclusively with homemade active electronics though his Galien-Kruger 300w bass amp. Being something of a staunch traditionalist, he prefers Boss tuner, noise reduction, limiter, and EQ pedals to enhance the sound of his Bass  rather than changing it altogether. He also uses a Tech 21 SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver DI.

Aaron  plays a five piece Pearl kit with Evans heads. He uses Zildjian and Sabian cymbals and plays with Vic Firth sticks.

Andres

A native to Cascadia, Andres has played in numerous local bands.  He picked up the guitar as an early teen and began writing songs before he had any musical knowledge.  As the years pass he spends less time working and more time tinkering is his home studio.  He currently moonlights as a guitar player in The Mello Outs.

Jeremy

Jeremy "Dreamy" Gordon was born and rasied in New York City. He moved to Portland, sight unseen, in 1995. He derives soul satisfaction and income from playing music and gardening. He enjoys basketball, eating spicy food, sleeping late, staying up late, and evidence of the paranormal.

Gerald

Born in Argentina, Gerald came to the US when he was eight years old. He started playing guitar while living in Argentina, but when he was a teen he fell in love with the Bass and has been playing it ever since. Gerald has lived in Los Angeles most of his life and enjoyed writing songs and playing many of the venues on the Sunset strip but left for Oregon in 1989 looking for something different... something real. He now lives in SW Portland with his wife and daughter.

Aaron

Aaron was raised in Iowa and has left, twice, for the Northwest. His Cajun mother and understanding father encouraged music from an early age. Surrounded by many friends and a brother that drummed, it was easy for him to shun other instruments. Too many damn scales. Aaron isn't about to forget where he's from and very much looks forward to the future jamming in Little Beirut. Peace, Y'all.
