Current Obsession

Jeremy has just coughed up a brilliant new tune, which has yet to be named. Andres has worked in intense guitar chops to make a song which is emotionally three dimensional... almost hypnotic. With any luck this tune will make its way into your collection soon. Stand by, and keep checking our download page for it.

This month Trick Sensei played out with the new line up, and had one of the most successful shows ever. If you haven't yet come out to one of our shows you are missing out on a good time. Keep checking back for show updates.

Latest News

12/01/06: Well, we did it. And we are still here, after all of the work, arguments and creative differences, with the same line up we began this recording project. Yes, it is true. We have just left the studio with a mixed, mastered and pressed master for our latest CD called "Summer Sessions: notes from a free Cascadia." This album contains eleven of our best songs and we believe you will enjoy listening to it. It is in production now and will be available in January of 2007, when we will be out promoting the heck out of it. Check back often for details, and tell your friends, for crying out loud! In the meantime, download some music!

02/15/06: We are almost ready to release our demo "Out of The Gene Pool." It has already been recorded and it is in the process of getting polished up. The Out of The Gene Pool demo will contain three songs from our album to be released next year.

9/27/05: We went through another lineup change and the sound is finally starting to solidify. Our new bass player's name is Gerald del Campo. That's him to the left, trying to look all cool. We have been busy relearning old music, creating new music, and should soon have some new recordings for you to hear.

9/20/04: Trick Sensei is looking for a new bass player. Our influences are Yo la tengo, Sonic Youth, Spacemen 3, Elliott Smith, Flaming Lips, Granddaddy, Pink Floyd, Built to Spill, Beck, Radiohead, The Breeders, The Spinanes, Heatmiser, Dinasour Jr., Velvet Underground, Wilco, Johnny Cash, Modest Mouse, Slint, Mark Lanegan, Afghan Whigs.
